Heat resistant basalt fiber knitted exhaust sleeve is a heat sleeve, and used to protect components and keep heat from transferring into the cabins.
This exhaust sleeve have a maximum temperature rating of 1800°F with a continuous rating of 1382°F.
The basalt fiber knitted exhaust sleeve is perfect for larger exhaust pipes as they can expand up to 1.5 times normal diameter allowing to install over flanges and sensor threads.
Highly conformable/expandable
Continuous thermal protection up to 750°C
Knitted construction provides optimal coverage and will not snag on exhaust welds
Highly resistant to oils, fluids, fuels, acids, alkalis and moisture
Provides protection to sensitive electrical wiring and components close to the exhaust
