High temperature resistant fireproof Basalt Woven Insulation Tape is a specialised type of high temperature insulation fabric. This tape is produced from basalt, an igneous rock with origins to molten lava. It is spun into fibres and assembled as yarns which are then expertly woven to form our Basalt Tape.
This tape is often selected as an alternative to fibreglass-based tapes. It is extremely hard wearing with very good abrasion resistance, high tensile strength and ease of handling.
