Aluminized Heat Barrier Cloth is great for protecting fiberglass bodywork from damaging exhaust heat. The woven silica inner layer provides insulating air pockets, while the flexible, highly reflective outer layer reflects radiant heat. The outer layer is capable of withstanding conducted temperatures to 1000°F and radiant heat to 2000°F. (This cloth is not designed to be applied directly to the exhaust system.)
